The American Association for Nude Recreation is celebrating its 80th birthday, so its president, Susan Weaver, thought she?d use the occasion to praise ESPN the Magazine?s The Body issue, due to be released soon. Specifically, AANR is delighted that ESPN chooses to use all ages and body types in its annual naked issue. But the they also seem to have a fixation on Hope Solo. Excerpt from the press release:
As the folks at AANR espouse: when you get home from work and remove your clothes you remove the stress of the outside world, and feel completely liberated. ?I?m looking forward to the 2011 edition hitting newsstands in October. In previous issues 60+ and 70+ aged athletes have been featured, and their participation attests to there being comfort in accepting one?s skin, not withstanding the passage of time and youth,? she adds.
It appears Hope Solo, U.S. women?s soccer team goalkeeper may be in agreement with AANR, as she hinted at the possibility of posing naked for ESPN the Magazine on her Twitter account. ?Being naked outside is very liberating?.at least I hope it will be @ESPN and @ESPNMAG!!! GAMETIME BABY! Ball up!? Solo teased.
Solo, of course, has refused to confirm that she?s taking it all off for ESPN, but she also refused to confirm Dancing With the Stars, for what that?s worth.
