And can I file chapter 7 for a $2000 medical bill and a $5000 + god knows how much in interest for a judgement for lawyer fees when I lost a case 5 years ago?
Or is it possible I can file on my own and save the lawyer fees since I don't have much money?????
If you go thru an attorney, it can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $3,000.
If you go thru a paralegal or "bankruptcy clinic," it will only cost about $300 to $500.
