(AP) - Chay Shegog hit the go-ahead free throws with 1:11 left, helping No. 25 North Carolina rally past No. 12 Miami 65-63 on Monday night in the Atlantic Coast Conference opener for both teams. Shegog finished with 20 points to lead the Tar Heels, who won despite finishing with a season-high 31 turnovers. North Carolina trailed by eight with about 5? minutes left before fighting back to take its first lead on Shegog's free throws.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Tricia Liston had 18 points to lead four players in double figures for No. 7 Duke, which blew past Virginia 77-66 Monday night in the ACC opener for both teams. Haley Peters added 13 points, Richa Jackson 12 and Chelsea Gray 11 with eight assists for the Blue Devils (10-2), who have won 19 straight in the series.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Leading scorer C.J. Harris was held out of Wake Forest's game against Wofford on Monday night with a strained groin. Harris injured his groin late in a victory over Yale on Dec. 29 and was sidelined as a precaution. Team officials said Harris was expected back for the Demon Deacons' Atlantic Coast Conference opener against Virginia Tech on Saturday.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina says junior defensive end Donte Paige-Moss has told Tar Heels coaches he plans to enter the NFL draft. Paige-Moss played all 13 games and finished with 29 tackles, four tackles for loss and two sacks. He tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the Tar Heels' loss to Missouri in the Independence Bowl on Dec. 26.
