2012 Monster Energy Pit Blog: Day 21 Pittsburgh

In today's pit blog we catch sets from Blessthefall, Pierce The Veil, Anti-Flag, Echo Movement, Danielle Barbe, Brian Marquis, and The Used. We also chat with Austin Carlile of Of Mice & Men and go golfing! More after the jump!

The weather was picture perfect weather just outside Pittsburgh in Burgettstown, PA at the First Niagra Pavilion.

I have to admit, today was one of the most fun days on tour. It was great to catch some of the biggest crowds for Blessthefall, Of Mice & Men, Anti Flag, and Pierce The Veil. I also had a great time checking out bands I hadn't had the chance to see yet, like Danielle Barbe, and Echo Movement!

Before Pierce The Veil took over the Kia Rio stage, I caught the guys back stage warming up. Guitarist, Jaime Preciado, even showed me some of his pre-set stretching techniques!

Also backstage I ran into Austin Carlile from Of Mice & Men to talk about his experiences on Warped thus far-- later we hit up the driving range out back by the lake to test his golf game!

I also swung by the Alternative Press magazine tent to learn about all of their daily happenings! Each day they have band signings and you can even get a cut the line pass to their events with the purchase of a subscription! Wristbands are necessary so pop by their booth at the beginning of your day at Warped, grab one and the official Warped 2012 program-- it's free!

Next door in the Acoustic Basement Brian Marquis (Therefore I Am) was doing his thing. Did you know Brian put together the whole idea for the acoustic tent this year? Talk about one of the best additions to Warped-- that tent is always packed!

Since we were in the P-G-H, I couldn't miss Anti-Flag's hometown set. Talk about energy radiating from the pavilion! Seeing those guys play is always mezmerizing.

Over on the House Of Marely stage I checked out the soulful rhythms of Echo Movement. I didn't realize we had another brass ensamble in the mix. They were fun to watch!

On the Ernie Ball stage Pennsylvania rocker, Danielle Barbe, packed a female vocal punch to her hometown crowd. This gal has a ton of talent, definitely catch her set while you can!

Back in the pavilion, The Used once again rocked a packed house for their second-to-last set on Warped. Talk about an unforgettable moment when Bert was joined by friends and family on stage and inevitably hoisted up on stage.
